Board Game of Choice: Blog Ring {Elk River, MN Photographer}

It’s Tuesday Blog Ring time. Welcome back to my regular readers and for those of you who are new, welcome. I am in a group of fellow photographer friends which we select a topic each week to blog about. You can travel around the world reading each one of our posts about the weekly topic and see everyone’s take on the topic.  This week we are blogging about, “Board Game of Choice.”

This week was a fun topic for me.  We love board games and have a closet full of them. So the hard part was narrowing it down to a game that is fun and loved by our family.  I had plenty to choose from, all the way from preschool games up to adult games.  Apples to Apples is one of our favorites but I decided that it really didn’t make for a fun photo.  So I picked one that holds a special spot in my heart. My Grandpa who passed away this past February was big into Mind puzzles and always loved a new challenge.  One year I found him a fun one that had lots of levels for him to try.  It was Rush Hour.  This has become a family favorite too.  We have a fun twist on this.   Our Safari Rush Hour. Instead of different types of cars it uses Safari Animals.  We love to sit down and try to complete as many as we can.  It is always fun to see how far we can get.

Board games are a big hit for us as Winter is long and we have been getting lots of rainy days. Who doesn’t love to play board games when you can’t be outside? I know I family does.

Head on over to Karen’s blog from Karen Cooley Photography to find out her take on her Board Game of Choice. Stay tuned for next week.
