Project 52: Week 11: Growing up {Elk River, MN Photographer}

I remember growing up and everyone telling me that I was growing up way to fast. But to me I wasn’t growing up fast and I, at times, couldn’t wait to be older. Now that I am grown up I know exactly what they were talking about.  It feels like just yesterday I was having my first son.

One of the fun ways I am documenting my boys growing up is by this fun growth chart. Thanks to my Mom, who loves to sew, who helped me with the sewing portion. I have no interest in sewing, but it would sure make all the fun projects I love to do easier.  But that is why I love being close to my Mom so she can help me with my fun projects.  Although it took some time to create and mark all the lines on this growth chart, I am happy with the end results.  This was a fun project to create, as it can go with us if we move. No marking on the walls (which I never did), or using the wall sticker chart in “E’s” room.  Each year on the boy’s birthdays we will measure them and write the date. It is fun to see how much they have grown each year and to see the difference in the two boys. One is definitely on the taller end.
